Product Description
The ‘Swarg Systems & Instruments’ unit enables the students to easily study the operation of ice plant. It consists of hermetically sealed refrigerant compressor, using R-12 refrigerant. The condenser is air cooled type. Similar to commercial ice plant, evaporator with forced circulation of brine over it is provided adjacent to ice can tank. The evaporator is fed by a thermostatic expansion valve. A brine agitator circulates brine over the evaporator. The students can study the cycle, calculate theoretical COP and compare the time for ice formation for different ice can thickness.
