The ‘Swarg Systems & Instruments’ trainer provides study of year round air conditioning. It consists of a duct fitted with cooling coils, heaters and the steam humidifier connections are also provided in the duct. To simulate summer or winter conditions, a simulating conditioning section is provided which consists of a cooling coil, heater and steam humidifier connection. The unit is provided with various measurements for cooling cycle, preheater and reheater. The unit is fitted with axial flow fan to generate the airflow. The unit provides an economical means to study year round air conditioning.

SPECIFICATIONS
1) Main Cooling Circuit – Hermetically sealed compressor having the capacity of approx. 3/4 ton of
Refrigeration, air cooled condenser, thermostatic expansion valve and evaporator (i.e. cooling coil) in the air flow duct of size 200 x 200 mm. Refrigerant used is R-22
2) Same capacity cooling unit for simulating winter condition fitted at inlet of conditioning section.
3) Heaters – Finned air heaters with input control, having heating capacity of 1.5 kw.
4) Axial flow fan to generate air flow.
5) Measurements and controls

  • Energy meters- 2 nos. for compressor and heaters input.
  • Pressure gauges for high and low pressure of cooling cycle.
  • Rotameter for liquid refrigerant flow measurements- 1no.
  • Anemometer for airflow measurement (0-15 m/s).
  • Digital temperature indicator for temperatures at various points.
  • High/low Pressure cutout.
  • Over load protector for compressor.

6) Steam generator and injector with electrical heater.
A technical manual accompanies the unit.
Also, the unit is provided with an attractive & rust proof powder coating.
