Vortex tube is an unconventional means of producing refrigeration. When high pressure of air is admitted tangentially to vortex tube, it produces two streams of air, one of the cold air and other is hot air.

The ‘Swarg Systems & Instruments’ apparatus demonstrates the operation of vortex tube.
